About Soccer Mambo

Soccer Mambo is a company that delivers social competitive football sessions,

tournaments, and leagues. All the sessions and services provided are inclusive, as individuals from all diverse groups, ages, and races can access and join in the games.

This particularly includes those people, communities and places where there are the highest levels of need.

Soccer Mambo aims to provide support to all ages in having access to social

competitive football. Right now, the project takes place at Dartford FC community pitches, even though matches commence every day with a max of 20 to 40 people at a particular time, there is always an excess of more than 100 people wanting to take partin the games. So, in essence there is a massive interest to take part in the games.

This project provides both the youth and adults a safe space to be able to exercise as they are participating in sport in a regulated environment. The project allows an inclusive ethos, and safe space for all to network and socialise.

So far, the organisation has hosted over 1,500 football matches, as well as leagues and tournaments. Further expanded to providing more media content for marketing, as well as creating series of documentaries based on real life people who attend the sessions (can be found on the YouTube). As part of this project, Soccer Mambo has worked with a local charity 'Active Horizon' in providing sports sessions to vulnerable young people.

So far, this project has been self-funded and to be able to expand and reach out to more people within local areas, and to make it more professional, I now need support to enable this growth.
